"Young lady, you are late! Now you'd better get to talking and I mean your explanation better be good because you know how I feel about tardiness. Were you out in the Big Apple having BIG fun as if you didn’t have any responsibilities; I’d love to know details, you have the floor explain..." "Well today I just had al-" "Now don't you dare open your mouth when I'm asking you a question!" And yes that pretty much sums up how I imagined my conversation with Mrs.Huxtable would go, trying to come up with an excuse as to why I'm posting this so late. I imagined she doesn't want excuses and you don't either lol, but you must admit, you definitely read that dialogue in her voice. If you can tell me in the comments what episode that was inspired by I'll love you fa'evaaaaaaa. Any-who; all these talks about feminism had me thinking; Claire was really a feminism pioneer via the television screen. She was the original "nasty woman" and never hesitated to put a man in check. Are y'all ready to time travel with me and recall a few of her most BAWSY moments?

1. How about that time Mrs.Huxtable had to school Elvin and let him know, "serving is the type of thing that goes on in a restaurant."

"And if you don't get it together and drop those macho attitudes; you are neva gone have anybody bringing you you anything, anywhere, any place, any time, EVA!"

2. Good news! I lucked up and found a whole episode, the bad news: the voices are altered due to copyright laws, but to make up for that I found the exact point where Claire got Denise's sexist boyfriend together, fast-forward to 17:56

3. But wait! Claire didn't just speak out about feminism, she shut racism down too! Remember that time she was invited to be on the panel of a morning talk show, only to find out she was their representative for their "black topics" segment. As a successful lawyer, she was more than qualified to be apart of the panel and discuss the same topics her white male counterparts were discussing, but they simply needed a "token black" to be on the show and she wasn't here for it.

Oh, but that read...how witty! *Spoiler Alert* She could've cooned for a coin, but instead of continuing to do the show, she gracefully declined. Chrisette, take note! *sips tea*

4. Lastly I couldn't find nor recall this episode, but I love this quote, or shall we say moment. If you know the episode please let me know.

Thank you Claire, you nasty woman you and thank you for showing us how to put thesesnasty boys in check, with wit, style, grace and no hesitation. Below are some photos of me getting in touch with my inner Claire. I'm pretty sure she'd sport this with a pair of pumps in the office ;and for a day out shopping with Vanessa and Denise, she'd sport this with a pair of boots or loafers. Enjoy!
