Hey babies!

So have you ever just not been in the mood to be all dolled up or put effort into your outfit. Well, that's me every day pretty much but here are some hacks I use to keep it casual and effortlessly cute.

A shawl or duster is a MUST:

I own about three of them, the one pictured is my favorite, it's a light grey to dark grey ombré. I love that it flows in the wind, when I want to look a lil shexy (that's not a typo, that's exactly how I said it lol,) I can rock it off the shoulder. You can throw them over a basic maxi dress, or a simple casual fit like this one and voi-la, you look like you put some thought into your fit but really it's a "throw and go" piece.

Don't feel like going over board with jewelry?

A simple choker will do. I purchase mine for no more than $2 from the beauty supply store. Nudes, black and gold are must-have colors to throw on with anything.

Bra-lets...the holy-grail of carefree summer aesthetic. Get you one.

High-waist pants! Listen, if you don't have a pair, please tell me why you don't. I need answers. If you're feeling self-conscious about not having those summer abs you promised yourself in January, you can still throw on your crop, throw these on, let that skin peak through and serve looks. This style of trousers in particular are my personal favorite. They're super comfy, baggy and airy.

Ok, lastly. I HATE FLIP-FLOPS.

Personally, those basic thong flip-flops sold at Old Navy, Walmart, etc. MAKE ME ITCH. Get you a few embellished sandals with a neutral base color like black, white, nude and keep them by the door to just slide on and go frolic.

And there you have it; my tips to literally serving EFFORTLESS CHIC this summer. ☺️
