Hi love bugs!

Here I am in my natural habitat, channeling TLC, Brandy, Scary Spice, all'at. It was a rainy, gloomy day in New York, but lucky for me there's a garden so pretty that you'll forget about the havoc in the world, right up the street from me. Under the bridge a few blocks down, the lovely people of Urban Garden Center made use of the under pass and curated an urban garden. Who needs to go to the Botanical Gardens when you have a FREE floral getaway five minutes from you?

My blogger home-girl (Patricia of Darrabie.com) and I, frolicked around the community garden and took some amaaaaazing photos.

With the location in mind, I decided to pair a vintage patchwork jacket my mom purchased from GAP in the late 90's with a thrifted denim dress and a pair of suede boots from Aldo. The jacket gives me oriental vibes, so I felt a bantu-knot hairstyle would tie the look together perfectly. Enjoy these photos as I indulge in all of my favorite things, 90's vibes, plants and DENIM. Also, peep the denim choker I made out of a pair of old jeans.
