Deep down inside,I'm just a Huxtable.

I enjoy posting up against the brick walls of brownstones, passing by coffee houses with jazz music blasting, cozy sweaters, chowing down on hoagies, gracefully letting men know we run the world and can be both homemakers and business women on our terms anddddd... occasionally attempting to recreate a popping designer look...and fail.

Rare but it's happened to the best of us lol. For the next couple of weeks I'm introducing you to a different Huxtable through some of my favorite outfits. Today, you'll be graced by Denise.

The carefree, fun loving and daring fashionista, with a never ending quest to find her purpose in life.

Honestly, truly 90s/80s chic is an aesthetic that has always been effortless for me and I attribute so much of my style to the Cosby Show. Anywho; Enjoy this cozy colorful,Cosby look I put together. All the pieces were thrifted; shoes were from Target, socks-Urban Ouffitters and earrings-H&M for just $3, did I hit a lick or nah???!!

Okay, so that's actually a phone in my pocket...and NO, I'm not happy to see you.

I personally relate the most to Denise Huxtable. I have an idea of what I want to do in life, as a matter of fact I know exactly what I want to do; I'm just lost as to how to get there. Even though Denise was "lost" in a way, her optimism and certainty about her being content never wavered. On top of that, her style was so eclectic and she was never scurred to try new things with her hair and overall look; she could go from pixie cut to dreads and still be bae and uhhh, yeah, I can too lol. Whose your fave Huxtable, who do you relate to most and why?
