Hey love,

I hope you've finally stopped selling yourself short; I hope that you're currently full speed fulfilling Plan A. Currently you're not even executing Plan B or C even, you're headed to this retail job you hate. It drains you, you leave, tired and uninspired. It has even put a toll on personal relationships because you've given this temporary part of your life the power to put you in such a negative space. You're frustrated, you remain in the confinement of the same four walls of a job you have no passion for, for the majority of your time. In a city where opportunity is at your fingertips, you feel like you're in a prison. The pieces of time you have left; you use them in attempt to build but at this point you don't even no where to start because you thought you were doing what you were supposed to be doing all along. You ask yourself all the time, "Where did I go wrong? Why am I here?" And proceed to say, " I can do so much better for myself." Well, you're here not because of some weird twist of fate or because God is torturing you but because this; mediocrity, unhappiness, passionless job is what you went after. For some reason at a point in life you settled; low enough to even consider this as an option and now you feel stuck. You're currently sitting across the street in Starbucks with two minutes left before you have to clock in, wishing you could run out of your skin but rent is due the 1st.

-------------------------------------------------

It's 11:22 PM and you just got off the train after leaving work, you're drained and the whole train ride some bad ass little kid threw a tantrum. You now have a headache. You reach your stop and you're just minutes away from home and all you want to do is throw your self on the new set of sheets you bought. *bing* They're here, finally! Your photographer just sent you the photos you took a few days ago for your blog; your eyes light up and your passion fuels you. You stay up until now, 4:00 AM, perfecting your content and plotting on ways to make Plan A happen.

--What is your Plan A? I am learning that the more you think of Plan A as some unattainable, intangible "myth" that's too good to be true, rather than realizing that Plan A is really just you walking in your purpose, you will make yourself believe you need a Plan B, better known as the mindset that keeps you from walking in your purpose.

XoXo
