The Huxtables take Columbus

No, my family is nothing like the Huxtables, nor are we the "black Brady Bunch;" however, my family is dope and will clown you out of love if your wig smells like burnt rubber, not that I've ever experienced that.

This weekend I got to reunite with the people that have the power to make me the happiest and work my last nerve, all at the same time. *Cues Proud Family theme song*

So, play along with me here; I'm going to be referring to myself as Denise Huxtable, in third person for the remainder of this post and I need for my readers to go along and pretend I'm not a weirdo, cool?

After a long week of failed apartment hunting, Denise packed up to head to her family reunion in Columbus, Ohio where she met up with Claire, Vanessa and Rudy (so, Rudy is my little brother, I just laughed so hard typing this). Throughout the course of Denise's trip she indulged in wholesome activities like drinking Viniq (a muscato and vodka blend) with her favorite cousins, twerking in hotel hallways and falling flat on her face, break dancing at dinner tables and telling grown men to get out of her background when she was trying to take pictures lol.

Needless to say, it was the perfect get away from all the madness in the Big Apple.

Columbus is such a beautiful city, I actually wish I could have stayed just a little longer. Below are some photos of my looking really Boho chic with Vanessa and Rudy aka my Guardian Angels.
