Hey babies! I hope last week was filled with productivity, despite all of life's random bullshit. My week was filled with both bullshit and productivity, so it was a good week none-the-less.

So let's get into it, y'all know the drill.

Like most young adults who give a damn about where they're going in life, I'm extremely hard on myself. I've never seen this as an issue though, because with those expectations comes hard work; hard work that I know will pay off in the end. However, I've realized I'm starting to live for tomorrow and not for today and I'm taking those baby-steps and pivotal milestones for granted. I can't seize the moment or celebrate small triumphs because I'm so focused on getting to the next level. I'm so hell bent on the end goal that I'm really not even enjoying life, I'm not enjoying my journey.

For those of you who are like me and have tunnel vision and will not stop until you get there; stop! I want you to stop for a second and tell yourself you're good enough, right where you are at this moment and I want you to be content with who you are, where you are and what you've done leading to this moment. Fuck a job title, fuck a weight goal, fuck all'at; whoever you are and all of who you are deserves some unconditional love, right now!

Did you gain a few followers this week? Did you get that part-time job that may not be the job of your dreams but will allow you to save towards a better future? Did you lose a pound this week? Well, celebrate because those small triumphs will attribute to the BAWSE status you're destined to acquire. No, none of these equate to touring the world with Beyonce or getting invited to brunch with the First Lady, but it is your life none-the-less and you have every right to be happy and celebrate those moments.

Unfortunately, the thing about us goal-getters, is even when we do reach that milestone we've been striving toward, we will still want to push ourselves to do better--what will we do then? Will we drown that moment that we've worked so hard for out, just to stress about what's next?? You are good enough, right now, as you are. Don't wait until you reach that 20k following or get the record deal or big promotion to feel worthy of celebrating, to feel worthy of associating yourself with certain people, to feel worthy of just being happy--you are deserving of all of those things right in this very moment. Be present in your journey.

When you log out of my blog, I first want you to send this link to someone you think needs it; then I want for you to get a jar and note cards and start writing out some accomplishments, big and small, from this year. From this day forward I want you to fill that jar with every single triumph and milestone and hell, even write yourself some love notes while you're at it! Whenever those occasional failures and downfalls lead you to questioning your worth, I want you to open that jar and read aloud all the things that have made you the poppin', bomb ass individual you are.

"Who are you to be bomb? The better question is, who are you not to be?" In case you're afraid to tell yourself, I'll go ahead and tell you, YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH, period.

-XoXo
