Finally! Ya' girl is in New York!

I know you're probably wondering what I'm doing here, if I have a job, etc....to answer your question I am stepping out on faith to embark on my dream career as a fashion and entertainment journalist/ publicist.

This week I have two interviews, I don't want to jinx them so I won't go into detail but send a prayer up for me because living in these NY screets aint cheap!

Enough of that though-

A couple of days ago my roomie and I decided to parlay in Central Park. Considering NY's moody weather as of late, it was imperative that I wore something comfy and warm so I paired a grey, ribbed tee with a pair of grey, cotton palazzo pants, threw on a pair of black creepers from Target, my thrifted leather jacket and hit the pavement.

Walking in New York is inevitable so dressing for comfort is a must, but running into important people is just as inevitable so ya' girl has to stay on point.

To jazz this chill look up, I put Wt N' Wild's liquid to matte gloss on my pout after lining it with Wet N' Wild lip liner, drew on a simple winged liner and went about my day.

The makeup scene in New York is completely different from Atlanta; in Atlanta everyone's faces are beat and contoured and highlighted for the GAWDS hunty! In New York a clean face and a bold lip seems to be the trend, so I said "When in Rome." Now that my face will probably be bare the majority of the time I'm probably going to need a new skin regimine to keep my complexion smooth and blemish free.
