I'm not sure if you got the memo, but two weeks ago Queen Yonce requested that we get in Formation and proceeded to let us know that if we don't slay, we will be eliminated....and I REFUSE to be eliminate. So every Wednesday I will be here at 11AM SLAYING honey and I'll let you in on outfit deets and how to be "Bomb on a Budget" so you can slay, save money and avoid elimination too lol.

The most important part of any outfit to me is COMFORT. If I am not comfortable and cozy, I can not wear it, I don't care how fly the outfit is lol, I'm a sucker for comfort.

I caught a great sale at Forever 21 and racked up on cute basic dresses, I purchased a few maxi's, mini's and mid-calf lenght dresses, none of which were above $13.

Basic dresses are a wardrobe must-have, you can dress them up or down and they're so simple, you don't have to overthink putting together a whole ensemble, you can just slip into your dress, accesorize and GO.

I'm going to call this look the, "Cookie 'Trill' Lyon" ( incase you don't know I STAN for Cookie, Cookie Lyon is my spirit animal, alter ego, all'at lol). I wanted to look chic, but I wanted to add an edgy flare so I paired this dress with a cheeta print coat, that is super plush and warm ( Charlotte Russe $20), a pair of Nine West booties ($6 from the thrift store, originally priced at $99) and a baseball cap I purchased for $2 at the beauty supply store for a DIY project (coming soon).
