So, we've already established that I am OBSESSED with the color grey this season, right? Ok, now that that's confirmed, grey accessories and clothing hasn't been the only I"m obsessed with.
Lately I've been head-over-heels for the grey/silver hair trend and I've been dying to try it but I don't want to lose my job (good jobs are hard to come by lol) and I don't want to damage my hair (good edges are hard to come by also).
My solution- a wig!
For those of you that don't know, making wigs are somewhat therapeutic for me. Wigs are so convenient and fun, you can literally become a whole new person in .2 seconds. Seriously, I went from Viola Davis (refer to the scene where she takes her wig and makeup off-I'm not mad at it,I'm just saying lol) to Storm in a matter of minutes.
For anyone wondering if they'd be comfortable in a wig or if it would be fitting I suggest trying it for a lowkey day, maybe when you're running errands just to get a feel for it and see how you like it.
Enough about this wig; I recently balled out at Forever 21 and bought nothing but basics; tanks, tees, leggings, etc. With neutral colors and minimalism being a huge trend this year; I've noticed alot of people turning basic, casual items into statement pieces.
I recently grabbed my wig, grey leggings and crewneck from Forever 21 along with my new Pumas, Nine West bag and a Steve Madden cape to add some flair to my 'basic' ensemble.
My boyfriend and I had a playdate at a nearby park and an impromptu photoshoot.
